Terms of Use
Last updated: 27 July 2026
These terms cover your use of flipkitchen.ca and the Flip Kitchen AI designer ("the Service"), operated from Canada. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Flip Kitchen AI is a free design tool. It lets you lay out a kitchen, view it in 3D, generate photorealistic renders, and produce an indicative price quote for cabinetry. It is a planning aid, not a construction document and not professional design, engineering or contracting advice.
Measure before you buy. Layouts, dimensions, elevations and quantities produced by the Service are estimates based on what you entered. Before ordering cabinets or starting work, have measurements verified on site by a qualified installer. We are not responsible for material ordered against an unverified plan.
2. Accounts
You can use most of the Service without an account. Signing in with Google lets you save designs and sync them. Keep your Google account secure; activity under your sign-in is treated as yours. We may suspend an account that is being used to abuse the Service.
3. Your designs and content
You keep ownership of what you create. Your kitchen designs, the photos you upload, your notes and your messages remain yours. Saved designs are private to your account — we do not publish them or show them to other users.
You grant us only the permission needed to operate the Service: to store your design, process it, transmit the parts required to generate a render or a quote, and show it back to you across your devices.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload images or content you do not have permission to use.
4. Renders and sharing them with us
Generating a render sends a screenshot of your 3D design and its settings to an AI image provider — that is how the image gets made.
Separately, we ask whether we may keep a copy of your renders to review and improve image quality. This is optional and off unless you turn it on. The current state is shown under the render and you can change it at any time; turning it off stops any further renders being kept. If you turn it on, you give Flip Kitchen permission to store and internally review those renders and their design settings for the purpose of improving the Service. We will not publish them, sell them, show them to other users, or use them to train third-party AI models. You can ask us to delete your archived renders at any time — see the Privacy Policy.
AI-generated images are interpretations, not photographs of a real product. Finishes, hardware, proportions and lighting in a render may differ from what gets built.
5. Quotes and pricing
Prices shown are indicative estimates for cabinetry based on the SKUs in your design and current list pricing. They are not a binding offer. They may exclude delivery, installation, countertops, appliances, taxes, modifications and site conditions. A binding price comes only from a written quote issued by us or a dealer after review.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, overload, probe or circumvent the Service or its rate limits.
- Do not use automated means to bulk-generate renders or scrape the catalogue.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, hateful or harassing content, or anyone else's personal information.
- Do not misrepresent Flip Kitchen quotes or renders as approved construction documents.
- Community posts must stay on topic and civil; we may remove content and revoke access.
7. Our content
The Service itself — software, 3D models, catalogue data, layouts, text and branding — belongs to Flip Kitchen or its licensors. You may use it to plan your own project and share your own outputs (designs, renders, quotes) freely, including commercially. You may not copy the Service's models, catalogue or code to build a competing product.
8. Availability
The Service is free and provided as-is. Features can change or be withdrawn, AI providers can be slow or unavailable, and we do not promise uninterrupted service or that any particular render will succeed. We do keep backups, but you should export or download anything you cannot afford to lose.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for costs arising from material ordered, work performed, or decisions made on the basis of a design, render or estimate produced by the Service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under consumer protection legislation.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and disputes belong to the courts of that province, without limiting any mandatory rights you have where you live.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will change. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept it. Material changes to how your designs or renders are used will be announced in the app before they take effect.
