Question of the Day

Does a gloss door show more fingerprints than a matte one?

Yes — and it also wipes clean faster than anything else in the kitchen, which is the trade. A high-gloss front shows fingerprints, dust and every smear, so it rewards a household that wipes down. A textured or matte surface hides handling far better; mid-tones hide it best of all, and very dark matte shows dust the way gloss shows fingers.
